Do you have a favourite GAA club, pizza place or burger joint? Maybe you know of a carer or caretaker who you think deserves some recognition? Then why not vote for them in the Belfast Media Group’s ‘Best of the West’ awards.
This new initiative is being brought to you in conjunction with our main business partners Bank of Ireland, Phoenix Natural Gas, Translink, Belfast Taxis C.I.C. ant the Kennedy Centre. And in the few days since the initiative was launched, we’ve already had over 3,000 nominations – a ringing endorsement of our belief that great services and great individuals deserve recognition.
We want to celebrate all that is great and good about West Belfast, by showcasing popular services, products and people and we are asking YOU to select your ‘Best of the West’ by taking a few minutes to fill out our form.
There are 35 categories to choose from with over three thousand votes already cast. To be in with a chance of winning £100 cash, simply complete one of our nomination forms and leave it into our Kennedy Centre kiosk or post it to: Best of the West, Teach Basil, 2 Hannahstown Hill, Belfast, BT17 0LT before 26 February 2016. The wonderful winners will be celebrated at our ‘Best Fest’ event in the Devenish on April 8, hosted by another ‘Best’ – the popular BBC personality and local man Barra Best.
