This week I hit a few snags, it’s very true what they say sometimes ‘life just gets in the way’ Things were going well for the first half of last week, I was sticking to my training, eating well, sleeping well and then on Thursday I felt as sick as a dog.
I crawled home and into my sick bed, my training and eating regime went out the window for the next few days. Thank God for Netflix (between Friday and Saturday I managed to watch 18 episodes of Scandal, so it wasn’t all bad)

On Saturday morning I dragged myself out of bed to go training in Conway Mill with Joe Keenan AKA G.I. Joe.

G.I. Joe is not for the faint hearted (ex foreign legion) In the past Joe has made me throw up, cry, curse and hate him, this only lasts for an hour though, he’s genuinely one of the nicest guys you can meet. However, GI Joe doesn’t suffer fools gladly and he does not do excuses.

After an hour in his class I felt wrecked but great, once I’d regained the feeling in my arms and legs I went home, planted myself on the sofa and woke up almost three hours later!

I also had to return to Uni this week (I’m a very mature student) and add to that the snow and working full time – truth is I’ve done next to nothing and I’m not going to beat myself up about it. I’m hoping to get back on track next week, I’m sure we all get the odd week like this, even Super Woman is bound to have the odd bad day here and there.
