Darren Gallagher was the Leisure hero again as he grabbed his second hat-trick in three games to secure the points in this Championship 2 game.  In fact it meant hat-tricks in consecutive home games for the big man as he showed that he is just as dangerous in the six yard box as he is from twenty yards.

With this form it looks certain that the striker will end up Leisure's leading goalscorer for the second year running which is not bad for someone who joined the club as a centre half three years ago and only secured the centre forward spot halfway through last season.

Although Leisure started well they found themselves a goal down after sixteen minutes,  Ian Todd converting from close range from an Alan Gaston cross, but midway through the half Gallagher got his first when he tapped home after great work by Jay Donnan.

Just before the break Tony Heagney and Kevin Duff combined well and this allowed Gallagher all the time in the world to give Leisure a half time lead.

Just after the break and Donnan went close. He was proving to be a handful for the visiting defence, after holding the ball up well from  a Kavanagh pass he did brilliantly to find space and force goalkeeper Joel Madison into a fine save.

Next it was James Daly's turn to test the stopper after a neat one two with Heagney he struck a fine effort but again Madison had the measure of it.

Gallagher nabbed his third with ten minutes to go, chasing what looked like an over hit pass he put Bradley under pressure and robbed him of the ball before finishing from twelve yards.

Another workmanlike performance from Leisure and they will be hoping they can continue this form for the run in.
