A LOCAL woman who held her own in the macho world of boxing is to be honoured with an Ulster History Circle plaque at her former South Belfast home.

FRIENDS, family and former members of Na Fianna Éireann gathered in the Lower Falls for the unveiling of a plaque dedicated to the memory of teenage volunteers Rose Curry and Gerard O’Hare, who died in a premature explosion in the lower Falls in September 1971.
