The director of a South Belfast company who employed a woman who fell to her death whilst on holiday has spoken of his devastation at her tragic loss. Mother of two Jacqueline McClafferty (41), from North Belfast fell from the third floor of the Poseidon Hotel in the Sunny Beach resort on Saturday June 16.

It’s all academic for former Barney head
The former principal of a North Belfast school is to be honoured at the University of Ulster’s graduation ceremonies this summer. PJ O’Grady, who retired as principal of St Patrick’s Bearnageeha last year, will receive an honorary doctorate for his role in helping to transform the school and for his contribution to the local community.

MANCHESTER United legend Harry Gregg (right) will be guest of honour at a special Q&A event in the Whitefort on Friday. The charity event is in association with Friends of the Cancer Centre, with all proceeds raised on the night going to the City Hospital.
