STAFF at FG Wilson’s Springvale plant have “real concerns for their jobs” as rumours circulate that the company is set to make 40 redundancies among its agency workers. An FG Wilson employee contacted this paper about the jobs fears after a recent company briefing was given to staff which failed to address their concerns, leaving them in a state of limbo.

Factory staff’s anger at an extra day off for the queen
WORKERS at the FG Wilson Springfield Road plant have hit out at their bosses who they say have given them an extra day off for the queen of England’s diamond jubilee – out of their annual leave. An extra Bank Holiday has been declared for Tuesday, June 5, to mark the jubilee, forcing many businesses to shut up shop for the day.
