‘Good samaritan’ murder case sent to appeal court

A LOCAL man who spent over 17 years in prison after being convicted of one of the most notorious Troubles murders in West Belfast has had his case sent back to the Court of Appeal. Fr Casimir ‘gravely ill’

Popular Ardoyne priest Fr Casimir Haran is seriously ill in hospital today after suffering a suspected stroke whilst celebrating a funeral mass yesterday (Wednesday). The much loved Holy Cross curate took ill whilst celebrating Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning and remains in a serious condition in the Royal Victoria Hospital.

Cancer survivor’s message of hope to disease sufferers

BEING told you have cancer is one of the hardest messages a person has to come to terms with, and for North Belfast nurse Carol Ann Creagh this was certainly the case. Many deal with this traumatic period of their life in different ways, and sadly, for many this period is also the last stretch of their life.
