St Paul’s II             1

St Malachy’s Old Boys             3

St Malachy’s Old Boys maintained their 100 per cent start to the season with a convincing win over St Paul’s.

With 20 minutes gone St Mal’s started to assert themselves and opened the scoring when Ryan Morris squared for Terrence ‘Charlie’ Petticrew to score his first goal for St Mal’s.

This settled St Mal’s and shortly after they scored a second when Ryan Morris took the ball down in the penalty area and finished coolly. Half-time: 2-0. The second half was comfortable for St Mal’s and they added a third through Fra Ligget. St Paul’s scored a late consolation goal to leave the score 3-1 at the final whistle.

St Malachy’s II travelled to Mallusk with an inexperienced side to face Kashmir Bilbao.

Kashmir were much the better team and eased to a 7-1 victory. The St Mal’s goal was scored by new boy Tony Robinson.
