LOCAL victims’ group Relatives for Justice are hosting a Halloween fundraiser this weekend in the Gaeltacht Quarter. The Cultúrlann will be transformed to celebrate all things spooky as RFJ hold the seasonal fundraiser on Saturday night.

RFJ Director Mark Thompson said: “This weekend will be a chance to have a great night’s craic and enter into the spirit of Halloween.

“Recently we had to let five staff members go due to significant gaps between funding programmes – in this intermediate period we are seeking to self-sustain our vital support services to victims and survivors of the conflict and the Halloween Fancy Dress Fundraiser is the perfect opportunity for people to support the work of RFJ.”

Tickets are priced at £40 per couple for a two-course meal and a bottle of wine or a two-course meal and two cocktails is £20 per person.

A free cocktail will be given to those in fancy dress.

Tickets are still available for the Fancy Dress Fundraiser in An Chultúrlann and can be purchased from the RFJ offices or by calling Aine Burns on 02890 220100.
