STAFF and Year 11 pupils from the Christian Brothers School on the Glen Road recently completed a ‘life coaching’ programme.The course provided a personal development programme aimed at young people aged 13 to 19 at risk of underachievement or exclusion from school. The ‘New Directions’ life coaching sessions were delivered by locally-based life coach Davina Hawkins and outreached by Springhill Community House.

CBS Principal Tom Armstrong welcomed the sessions.

“I fully support outside agencies and community groups coming into the school to support and educate our pupils,” he said.
