Ardoyne remain unbeaten after two games following this convincing win.The first goal of the game on Saturday came from Seamus Armstrong after the defender shot from outside the box to score his first goal for Ardoyne - much to the delight of the players.

The Ardoyne back line of A Stewart, B Davidson, T Maloney, D O’Hare and S Armstrong were solid throughout the match.

Two more goals were to follow when Dylan Brown shot from long range to give the goalkeeper no chance then Curtis Davidson tapped in at the far post after good work from Gerard Maguire to give Ardoyne a 3-0 lead.

The Ardoyne midfield of J Doherty, B Keenan, G Maguire and D Brown controlled the midfield, with forwards C Davidson and M Maguire causing lots of problems for the Celtic defence.

Ardoyne started the second half with good attacking football and after some great work Gerard Maguire scored a fine goal to make it 4-0.

Ardoyne then made a number of changes and on came P Copeland, G Patterson, D McFarlane and S Doyle who all quickly got involved in the game.

Three goals were to follow in the second half by Gerard Patterson, Curtis Davidson and Gerard Maguire for their second goal of the game.

It was an overall great performance by Ardoyne who were too strong in the end for Celtic.
