Calling all the single ladies of North Belfast!

Now’s your chance to grab a date with an eligible bachelor when the North Belfast version of the popular television dating show, Take Me Out, comes to Ardoyne.

Next Saturday (September 24) 12 hopeful girls will be casting their eye over the lucky lad in the first night of Pips Take Me Out at the Crumlin Star.

Hosted by Belfast socialite Lady Portia De Monte, the show will follow the fun-filled antics of the ITV show as presented by Paddy McGuinness.

The girls will judge the brave boys on their looks, personality and in the hope of finding the perfect partner.

All proceeds from the event go to local suicide awareness charity PIPS Programmes.

Paul McCusker from PIPS said the event promises to be fun-filled.

“The event is not to be missed and there are loads of surprises in store. It will be great fun and all proceeds go to a good cause,” he said.

“There are still places available so any one who wants to take part in the show can email

pips-take-me-out@hotmail.co.uk or phone 07806458311.”

The opening night of PIPS Take Me Out is at 8pm on Saturday, September 24 at the Crumlin Star. Admission is £5 and the show will be followed by a disco.
